American Crafts Layouts..

This year I think I have gone American Crafts crazy with all the fabulous new lines that they have come out with lately. I did a lot of Easter layouts this week.

Here are two layouts using some AC for some "April Showers" pictures:

Their products are so cute and who can resist all those new Thickers that are our right now?
Have a great weekend..It is supposed to rain around here..Oh well, at least we had great weather last weekend!

Let's Get Ready for the HOT weather!

Isn't it funny how crazy, everyone used to go over licenced papers?? It's kind of an outdated trend now...sort of.. I still like them "once" in a while..

This weekend is supposed to be in the mid-80's!! I can't wait! I love hot Summer weather.
The weather should be great for my flowers as well. Isabel just loves getting her hands dirty out there.

I used some Imaginisce and LYB papers for these. I got some great Makine Memories journaling tags, chipboard, and flowers from Target a couple of weeks ago on Clearance. So love a good deal on scrapping supplies!!!

I did a retro layout using some Sassafrass. The photos are of me when I was little playing outside just like some photos I took of Isabel last summer playing with the hose..Life comes full circle, doesn't it?? I love that the art of scrapbooking allows us to revisit so much from our own childhood experiences.

Speaking of childhood, I snapped these silly shots of Isabel and finally scrapped them using some old BG paper:

That's it for now..Have a great Thursday ..And hope your weather will be as nice as ours is supposed to be!!

Spring is in the Air...

And we all know what that means..Time for those lovely garden photos and outdoor shots. I think this might be one of my all time favorite photos thus far taken of my daughter in front of the newly blooming daffodils and her little daisy umbrella.. Very "scrapworthy" I must say...

In my never-ending quest to use up old supplies (as I have some new stuff coming in from 2 Peas this week), I did a layout using this older SEI line, but I think it works well with the gardening theme.
Here is a layout using my AMM March kit..There is some SEI paper here too... I did the white corner vines using the Prima flower packaging as a stencil with my white Ranger pen.
Some Love, Elsie paper that (sniff, sniff) is no more...

Isabel and her first Barbie.. A layout I have been meaning to do for a year.
I got the idea for this layout from a layout I saw in MM magazine. I used some grungeboard and some stamps from an old Studio Calico Kit.

Have a great Monday! Thanks for stoppin in!!

Hey There, Happy last day of March.
I ALWAYS have a great time using my Bad Girls kits and the March kit was no exception.
This kit was loaded with lots of NEW Prima papers and embellishments and I just loved creating with it. Here are the layouts I did:

Lastly, here is my submission for the March Bad Girls "Tote Bag Challenge". This month we were tasked to do something fun and creative with the fabric swatch we got in the kit. I decided to cut mine up and make some fabric flowers that I stitched onto my paper. I love this color scheme.

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Birthday Layouts and a Princess Party..

I thought I would share a couple of layouts that I did from Isabel's 4th birthday.
I used some Sassafrass papers, some BG Cupcake papers and embellishments, as well as, some old Marcella by K Valentines papers from Target from last year.

Speaking of birthdays, Isabel went to a Princess Party last weekend where all the girls had to dress in costume. How cute are these pictures?
My little Tinkerbell. Hair accessories courtesy of Michael's Spring home decor.

How many 4 year old princesses can you fit in a bounce house?

Waiting to get their nails done...

Pretty princesses all in a row..

Have a wonderful Thursday!!

Happy Spring!!!

Happy First Day of Spring! I personally love Spring, Summer, and the warmer weather so I am very happy that we are officially in Spring. The Spring blooms are starting to sprout up and the days are getting longer and warmer..Yay!

It is hard to believe that we celebrated Isabel's 4th birthday last week. She is now truly a little girl.

Here is her picture from her first four birthdays! Wow, time flies!

I was inspired this week while looking at the Bad Girl's Project 52 Blog by a banner that Cari F. did in February entitled "Sweet Dreams". I thought this was a great way to use up some of my flower stash so I made one yesterday entitled, "Springtime". I used my circle and scallop punches, painted some Maya Road chipboard, and used up a bunch of flowers, ribbons, and buttons from my stash. What fun projects like these are!

Finally, here is a layout using those adorable monsters from October Afternoon. Love the colors here..

Have a great weekend!!!

Happy March!

Yay! Spring is almost near and we are going to have some nice warm weather this weekend. Maybe it will push my little sprouts up in the yard..Such a sign of optimism and promise of the warmer days to come.
Thought I would share some of the layouts I did with the Feb. Bad Girls Kit that I talked about last post..

Here is a layout using those new fabulous K & Co. Que Sera Sera papers and embellishments.
I got a little crazy at Michael's and got a whole bunch of stuff from this line.

Finally, Here is a layout inspired by the design talent of the wonderful Alexis Hardy:

That's it for now..I have been busy trying to consolidate and reorganize as usual. Plus, I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my AMM March kit..Woo Hoo!!

Have a Great Weekend!
