Happy St. Patrick's Day 2011!

Top O' the Morning! I guess I should say.  Happy St. Patrick's Day! I sent me DD to school this morning fully outfitted in green..She is 1/8th Irish after all!!
St. Patrick's Day celebrations start early around here.  Usually the Saturday before is a huge parade in my town.  It is actually one of the biggest in NJ.  I read that there are more bands in our little parade than in the Rose Bowl Parade!!  Isabel and I marched in the parade this year for the first time with her Daisy Troop.  She had a blast!!
Bailey watched the parade with Daddy.  She wore her Shamrock T-Shirt and the tutu that I picked up for her in TJ Maxx..How could I resist?

Actually it was a very busy weekend as Isabel also turned 6 on Friday!! Hard to believe!
She started the day with a birthday breakfast:
Got Lots of presents:

And had her favorite meal for Dinner--Hamburgers
   and Sprinkles Cupcakes..Yum!!!
Bailey liked them too!!
That's all for the day..Wishing everyone lots of Joy and Luck today!!
Maybe some green beer and corned beef too!!

Winter is Back

Last Friday it was almost 70 degrees! The snow was melting and you could almost see the grass again. Then on Monday it snowed about 4 inches again and everything is back to cold, gray winter.  Please come soon Spring.  I thought I would post these Winter layouts since this is the last time I really want to discuss or see Snow layouts.
Wow! A 2 pager!

I love this pic in B&W

My Snow Angel

I used my White Mr. Huey's SC mist..I love it on black cardstock.
I also have some more February Studio Calico layouts to share:

This is definitely one of my all-time favorite layouts..I love the pic. and I can't get enough of this rainbow paper.

I love this photo and these colors together.  It just makes me smile.
 A "then and now" layout

Lastly, I hope everyone had a nice Valentine's Day last week.  We had a nice day.  I did these layouts.  I was on a roll with scrapping last week and this week I have done NOTHING but organize some old photos into some albums..
This paper makes me miss Daisy D's..I wish they were still around..

It was so fun to make this heart with JB crepe paper.
Have a great Wednesday..Thanks for stopping in!

Love is in the air!

Happy Valentine's Day 2011!!!

Being that it is Valentines Day, I thought I would look back and share some of my favorite Valentine pics. from Days gone by. I love this holiday and all of the decorations for the day.  The hearts, all of the red and pink, flowers, cupcakes, candy..all of the cute cards.  It really is one of the great things we have to make us happy during the cold, gray winter months.. So sweet..
I have a few layouts to share speaking of sweet, from the Studio Calico February kit, "Candy Shoppe".  What a great kit full of bright colors, SC Exclusive paper from Crate Paper, and lots of fun little embellishments.  This kit has been so fun to work with.  Here are a few layouts:
I added some K&Co. die-cuts to the layout.

I have been wanting to scrap these photos since forever and I finally found the right kit for it.

I just love those polka dots and the floral paper.

And here's a layout I did using some Valentine's paper from Fancy Pants that has been sitting in my stash for quite a while.. I am glad I finally used it!
I hope you and yours have a wonderful Valentines Day!!!

Winter Fun!

With all this cold, crummy weather and nonstop snowy days, the girls at least have had a lot of time this year to play in the snow.

Isabel also got to go ice skating for the first time.  She was a little nervous, but I think she had fun!

We saw this the other day..It always makes me smile when I see Mr Weinermobile, I just had to get a picture!

I have also been working on a few layouts from the Studio Calico January kit, "Who's Who"

I've scrapped this pic before, but this time I blew it up to 8x10 as I thought it worked so pretty with the tree paper

I always love some butterflies.

Loved the bookshelf stamp with this kit and it went so well with these pics about Clifford, the Big red dog.

I can't get enough of the blue/yellow color combo.

Just so fun to do with the circles and the Sass. flowers.

That is all for this Monday.  Hope everyone has a great week and the chance to "Dream Big" today...

This is my 101st post! I know that some Bloggers post daily, but I am neither the writer nor have the time.  It only took me about three years to get to this point, but it is quite the milestone for me. You would think I would have something more exciting to say, but it is January and cold and post-holiday blahs..
Isabel has been enjoying all the snow we've had around here..

Bailey likes to watch her...
We've had lots of tea parties....

And impromptu photo sessions....

And when I have time, I have been completing my holiday layouts.  I always think I don't take enough photos and then I end up with an album full..
Here are some of my favorites:

Love this photo and the Echo Park Paper here!

I used a Lot Of Martha Stewart Paper this year..Loved the bright red and green.

October Afternoon is always good too!
So is Dear Lizzy from AC!

Love this picture of our Elf!

Adhesive Paper Ribbons are so great and easy to use and LOVE, LOVE these Girl's Paperie snowflakes!
I Finally used this Hambly transparency from my stash! Loved these glitter Dear Lizzy Thickers too!
So love the look of neutral/kraft colored papers with the red and green colors of Christmas.

Working on my "night" pictures...

That is it for today..my little one is begging for some attention..Thanks for stopping by!!!
