First Taste of Fall

Well, It is starting to get a little chilly out and we found our first tree in the neighborhood to sport some new Fall colors. Isabel and Bailey had a great time playing outside and exploring all of nature's beauty.

We went to the Central Park Zoo last week and Isabel got to see a snow leopard.

This little one was just happy to be carried around in her sling..

Speaking of Bailey, she is starting to reach a lot of milestones lately at 4-1/2 months like rolling over:

and finding her toes...

I finally finished the last bits and pieces of my Studio Calico September kit. I just loved working with those colors especially with Black and White photos:

That's it for today.
Thanks for stopping by!

Back to School!

This week Isabel went back to school and the cool weather has really settled in..It gets you thinking about Fall and taking photos. Apple picking, the pumpkin patch, Halloween, Fall leaves...

Bailey is doing great. She is really starting to look around at the world and is starting to chew on her toys and play..She is sleeping through the night in her crib..It was a little sad giving up her sleeping next to my bed in her Moses Basket, but I figured it would be a much easier transition for her to start sleeping in it now.

I have been working on some layouts, but most of them I haven't taken pictures of..I guess I have been lazy with the downloading, but here are a few....Thank goodness I have two girls, because I just love pink and all that vintage shabby-chic goodness. I got a bunch of Crafty Secrets and Melissa Frances when I went to the Scrapbook Expo last month.

I got my Studio Calico September kit yesterday, so I am ready to create today. It has been a while and I love the colors in this kit-blues, greens, reds, black, and white--lots of Anna Griffin and butterflies..fresh and lovely...

Have a crafty Thursday!!!

Hot fun in the Summertime!

This is me with my "Girl Posse". Yep, that is what we call our house full of girls around here. All I can say is poor Daddy!!

This layout just makes me smile. Don't you just love the ones that are so fun to make and you hate to put them away?? I know when I see it in the future..it will make me just as happy then as now.

Happy Monday! This is going to be the first really HOT day this Summer. The first day it will reach over 90 degrees. We'll try and stay cool!

Izzy made this Wall-E project at her Summer program in school. Isn't he adorable?

Here are a couple of layouts that I have been working on lately:
some Studio Calico:

some October Afternoon:

A little of this:

Have a great week!!

"AMM-June Kit"

We are having a nice, sunny day here yesterday compared to yesterday's rainy, gray day. It almost felt like a dark, fall day..
This weekend we spent lots of time at the pool:

and finally had a family photo taken of all four of us:

I also got to finish up some 4th of July layouts that I had wanted to get done using the AMM June Kit and some Rusty Pickle papers.
.

I have also come to the realization of two things after all these years of scrapping:
1. I suck at stamping, nice clean lines..My stamps are always splotchy and uneven.
2. I hate working with Glimmer Mists..I never like what I do and I am always disappointed.

Oh well, I guess I will just keep working on it...
Have a great day!!!

Michael's finds and a Shadowbox

Is there anything sweeter those those first few smiles??
well maybe this..

I can't believe the little one is 8 weeks old today..my little luv bug.

I have been working on a shadowbox using my "A Million Memories" June Kit. I had been saving it until I found just the right photo to use. I got the idea and quote from a back issue of "Scrapbook Trends". I think it came out really cute.

I went to Michael's and found some really cute Helen Dardik 4th of July papers:
These will be really great for the photos I have from the holiday.

I also scored a bunch of that new MM Vintage Findings line:

I got a couple of the little kits that have themes like: "school", "girl", "baby", & "travel" and they had lots of great little trims and accessories.

I am not sure exactly what I am going to use these for, but I am sure I will figure something out. Off to scrap!! Have a great Wednesday!
