New Year's Eve..

Happy New Years! I thought I would get this last blog post in before 2010 arrives.  Christmas was nice and quiet despite the fact that both of my little ones has colds.
 It was especially hard on the baby, but she is a little trooper!
The kids got lots of fun gifts and had a ball opening them .

  I have been busy finishing up my December AMM kit..

I made quite a few layouts including these:

Christmas in New York

 

One of the joys of living so close to NYC is spending time there at Christmastime.

But it has been soooo cold..

Everybody had to bundle up really good!!
But it is so worth it as NYC is the BEST place to be during the Christmas Season!!

2009 Gingerbread Wonderland and Christmas at the Mall

It is a yearly tradition in our house to go to the Gingerbread Wonderland held at the arboretum in our town.  The display is a candy-lovers delight for young and old.  The displays run the gamut from grade-school kids to artists that create the most wonderful edible pieces of art.  Isabel loves to look at the creations and it was Bailey's first time, but she was a snoozer this year in her carrier throughout the visit.

Oh well..there is always next year...

 

Then..we headed to the mall to see Santa and check out the crazy "dancing lights" Christmas Tree. Isabel had a great time watching the light show set to music..She didn't want to leave..

 

But I got her to wait for Santa:

And do a little shopping (and posing) in front of Mommy's favorite store..

Then back home to finish out Holiday cards..I used my Hero Arts stamps and some DCWV cards..Simple and easy..

Thanksgiving pics. and a couple of layouts..

Sorry it has been a few weeks since I last posted, but this house was full of sickies with colds and flu's...We are finally starting to recover..Thanksgiving was good.  We made a good turkey:

And this little Turkey starting eating baby food...

The Big Turkey had a good time too!

 

All in all it was a nice quiet, weekend.

I have been working on my holiday cards and made a few layouts, but I am starting to get a little behind..I did do some layouts recently though using my November Studio Calico kit:
