Thanksgiving photos, some Fall layouts and a Holiday Card

I have been so buy with getting ready for the holidays that I haven't had the chance to post some photos we had from Thanksgiving.. We had a nice holiday in NH this year.  The girls had fun and acted like Turkeys, as usual!!

so did the Biggest turkey of them all...
Daddy did a great job as usual, carving the turkey..

With Isabel in Kindergarten this year, I have been kept busy with her homework!! LOL!
Our latest project was to make a Gingerbread house out of a paper bag..We had fun doing it!

And speaking of the holidays, this is my Holiday Card this year..I used Martha Stewart paper and Hero Arts stamps..(I always love their designs and the quality of their stamps.)
The little girls remind me of my 2 little ones..

And before I forget, here are some Fall layouts that I have been meaning to post.

Good Fun! Thanks for looking!!

Pumpkins, Kids, and lots of Candy..

I finally finished most of my Halloween layouts and I am so glad I can finally share them.  I just love creating Halloween and Christmas layouts and all of the cute papers and embellishments that are out there for the holidays.  I can never get enough!! I think it is because kids at the holidays are so fun to photograph and you get to relive your childhood through their eyes.  This year, Isabel was Cleopatra and Bailey was Wonder Woman..They looked so great and we had a lot of fun at Isabel's school parade, trick or treating in our downtown, and going around our neighborhood.  I only wish I had more trick or treaters at my house as we don't have that many kids in our little community.
We always make the best of it though and have SO much candy that we could swim in it! Lots of good Stuff!!!

I try and use a lot of product that I already have in my stash, but I love to shop for new stuff each season (that is a big part of the fun of scrapbooking, isn't it?) My favorite products this year were:
1. Martha Stewart Punch around the Page Spiderweb Punch
2. We R Memory Keepers Papers (esp. their word strip papers)
3. My Mind's Eye "Blackbird" line
4. Martha Stewart "candy" embellishments that look like little wrapped pieces of candy. Yum!
5. Black tulle and those fun Prima black rhinestone swirls

Thanks for looking! I hope you enjoyed them as much as I liked creating them..Have a great Thursday!

Fall Fun!!

We have had a busy time picking apples and going on hayrides. That and the smell of apple cider are some of the best things about Fall.

I haven't posted layouts in a while so I thought I would post some from the Studio Calico September Kit. Lots of fun Sassafras in this one......

I was waiting for this October Afternoon "Seaside" paper to come out for what seemed like Forever!! But, I finally got my hands on some and did a layout from some old photos of me from the Jersey Shore.  Great Fun!!!
Thanks for stopping in and have a wonderful Thursday!!
