I also did two layouts with some older photos using some older V-day papers and embellishments that I had stashed away..So Sweet! They went just perfect with the "cupcake theme" here:

It's Snowing! (again!)

Hi There! Well it looks like we are getting another big snowstorm here (12+ inches!)..I am so ready for Spring!!

These little ones are keeping busy..

doesn't she look like she's giving a peace sign??

And I have a couple of kits and supplies piling up, but it looks like SHE might get to them first!

I need to finish up some V-day layouts first though...then I can focus on my new goodies!
Here are a couple:

I just love Bailey's facial expression in the last one..
I have been also working on using up some of my old kits.. This layout is a recent one..

I tried to keep it clean and fresh looking.  I used some of those mini Maya Road houses as arrows and gave them some Glossy Accents for a shiny, clean look..I had a lot of fun doing this one with a perfect (imperfect photo).

That is all for today...Have a great Thursday!!..Hopefully, I will be able to get some scrap time in during this snowstorm..

After the snow....

We had a big snowstorm here yesterday.  We got at least a foot of snow, but it was great because everybody got a snow day and these guys had a lot of fun playing in it!

Lately, this little one has been very busy accomplishing many amazing feats including this:

and if you missed it..this:

and this:

She is going to definitely keep me on MY toes for sure!!

I have also been working on some layouts from my Studio Calico Jan. Kit.  The colors worked so pretty together (soft blues, grays, and greens).

And I also did a couple of layouts using some of my older supplies that I have been trying to  use up in order to make way for all of the new CHA stuff.

Finally, Here is a layout I did for Tavern On the Green the NYC landmark which closed it's doors on New Year's Eve 2009.

That is it...Thanks for stopping by and looking.  I know this was very picture heavy, but it has been a while..Have a wonderful Thursday!!

An Inchworm and some layouts

TGIF!! I hope everyone had a great week!

This little one turned 8 months this week and she is a little inchworm, squirming her way around the house to get what she wants! (esp. her Big Sister's toys!)

She is doing great, although she still doesn't have any teeth, but she sure does like to eat, regardless!

I had the chance to work on my A Million Memories January kit.  I had a lot of fun working with something fresh and new and really enjoyed working with all of the Webster's Pages paper and the Prima flowers and pearls.
Here are some examples:

I always love working with florals, especially in the Winter when nature outside is so gray..It makes me look forward to Springtime that's for sure!
Have a Fabulous weekend and thanks for stopping by...

Holiday '09 Top 9

Happy January!
It's been a few weeks since I last blogged, but I have been trying to finish all my Christmas and Holiday layouts.  Don't get me wrong, I love taking pictures and the products for this time of year, but I am SICK of seeing them and want to move onto something fresh and new.  I think that all of the CHA-W sneaks don't help much either.  Some of my favorite new lines so far that I've seen are: American Crafts partnership with Elizabeth K. http://americancrafts.typepad.com/studio/2010/01/cha-sneak-peek-dear-lizzy.html , all the new Maya Road chipboard products http://mayaroad.typepad.com/mayaroad/2010/01/day-4-are-you-ready-for-more.html , and the Sassafras Cherry Delicious line http://sassafras.typepad.com/sassafras/2010/01/nutritious-and-delicious-with-a-chance-of-scrumptious.html .  I can't wait to see all the new roll-outs from the show next week!

So..Here are my Top 9 favorite Holiday layouts from 2009...
1. "25 Days of Wonderful"
Love the outfit, the facial expressions, and this MM paper with the Pink Paislee paper, brads and MS snowflakes.

2. "Holiday Cookies" I have wanted to document this recipe forever and was really happy with the BG paper with the MS letters and stickers.

3. "Christmas in NYC" Love the gold and the silver with the green lace trim.

4. "Holidaze" Love the photo and the Pink Paislee pink and green photos with the pearls and the MS butterflies.

5. "Celebrate the Season" Love the SC clock stamp with the Webster's Pages paper.

6. "Santa Rocks!!" Love the photos and the vintage-y feel of this We R Memory Keepers paper.

7. " A Kitchy Christmas" Love the ornaments, the JB crepe paper frame, and those AC Thickers.

8. "JOY" Love the sepia photo and the white, pink, silver color pallette..So icy and clean.

9. "Happy Holidays 2009" love the colors with the B&W..I just love the pic!!!

That is all for today! Thanks so much for reading!!
Have a great day!
