Happy First Birthday Little One....

Sometimes life is busy....We get caught up in life's day to day..
I didn't want to much time to pass and not at least acknowledge here the celebration of my littlest one's first birthday last week.

Bailey had a great first birthday and party.

She had a candy bar (for the "bigger" kids):

and lots of yummy treats!!

It is so hard to believe in only 12 months, they go from this, my teeny-tiny little 4 lb. 14oz. little squidgy...

and then 6 months later to this:

and now this..my little one year old.. 20 lbs and 30" long..

Happy Birthday my little peanut!!!!!

The Simple Things...

Sometimes it is just the simplest moments in life that are worth remembering the most..

 For these are the moments that I am most grateful for.

 

Mr. Blog, I am sorry it has been a while, but this Spring cold has really knocked me down and I have been so busy getting ready for the little one's first birthday next week.  It is unbelievable that she will be a year old.  Time goes by so quickly.

I have been working on some layouts, not as much as I'd like with my cold and all, but here are a few from the past couple of weeks.

I was on a mission to use up some paper from a Studio Calico kit, as well as, use some older stamps.  I accomplished both here and was quite happy with the way this bracket stamp serves as a frame for the papers and photos.

This is a layout that I did for a National Scrapbooking Day Challenge over at A Million Memories.  It was great to use up some of this SEI paper that I have been holding onto for quite some time.

I just got my new Studio Calico May kit so I am looking forward into getting into that one, as well..
