A Big Birthday and some layouts..

My DH turned the big 4-0 this weekend.  We went to dinner in Manhattan not once, but twice and I am still full.

Daddy had all his girlies around him to help him celebrate (and eat his desserts!).

Isabel has been busy gardening and celebrated Earth Day Last week.  She loves being outside in the sunshine and digging in the dirt.

And this little one is just busy being her cute, little, 11-month old self:

I have been working with the Studio Calico April Kit and it is funny because the kits that appeal to me the least as far as papers and embellishments, tend to be the kits that I have the most fun and get the most mileage out of.  I guess it is because I have very little expectations as to what I am planning to to with them, so I am forced to get more creative. The continuing theme remains for me being "the 3 B's" --Banners, Butterflies, and Babies!! But I really like the results from this kit:

I really like those K&CO. vintage photo frames in the 2nd to last layout.  I didn't think I would.  I may have to see if I can get more of them at Michael's next time I go.

My favorite Tree is in Bloom!

I love this time of year because my favorite tree is in bloom.  It smells so fragrant and the blossoms are so PINK!!! Just beautiful!

This girl has been so full of energy lately..Must be Spring fever!

And this little one has been busy exploring and getting her second tooth! (gotta love the matching dresses!)

I have been getting a lot of layouts done lately.  I think it's because I have gotten so much new product that it is overwhelming me!  But, it is good to be productive!

I have also been trying to finish up my March Kit from Studio Calico.  I got an add-on, as well as, the Main kit so it just goes on forever.  I do love the product in it.  I think I just need a "little" break from Dear Lizzy and Sassafras...I mean just a week or so....

This layout is a baby photo of me and one of Bailey.  It is amazing how much we look alike!

Lastly, I finally got my first bottle of Maya Mist.  The color is Cotton Candy Pink (of course!).  I went a little crazy with it on this layout, but I think I definitely like it better that Glimmer Mist.

Is It Summer Yet??

It sure has been feeling like it around here..Yesterday it reached 90-degrees!! Today will be in the low 80's, then it is back to reality as the temps. are going to drop back into the more Spring-like 60's.

The girls and I have been busy outside enjoying the sunshine and warm weather..

We had a very nice Easter weekend last weekend.

I have been busy working on my AMM March kit..The colors were really fresh and fun in this kit. Lots of My Mind's Eye, Jillibean Soup, and these really great shiny red AC Thickers which I ordered more of at 2 peas the other day.. I pretty much used up everything...

This is an old photo of me from back in the day.. Loving the sunglasses and bracelets. This shows my love for accessories and cheap costume jewelery even back then..

I just love those Martha Stewart doily tags and those Lamb, Moon and Star stickers.
