August Days...

If we could just hold on forever to the warm Summer days...

Well, Summer is almost coming to an end...these August days just seem to fly right by and then Labor Day is right upon us again..(sniff..sniff).  It is always a little sad, but I guess the important thing to do is take a little more time to sit back and enjoy these lovely warm weather days and appreciate them more.  Isabel is almost finished with her first year of day camp.  She loved it!!! Bailey has been busy just playing and swimming in the pool and playing outside with her water table.

I have not been scrapping as much or as quickly as I'd like with all of the nice weather and quite frankly, my little one is too meddling in my stuff..I hope to catch up...one of these days...
But here are a few Summer layouts I did recently:

One of the best places to be in the Summer is at the beach and one of the best places to go on a hot day is the Jersey Shore.  The girls had a great time swimming in the ocean and playing in the sand.  They love it!

I have been working on a few layouts from 4th of July:

Used some great K & Co. holiday embellishments and mixed my Thickers in my title. Fun!

Love the AC paper pinwheels..

I also did a couple of layouts using my July Studio Calico July Kit, "Mind the Gap".  Love the oranges, olives, and browns here especially when mixed with kraft paper..

Really fun to create!!!

It has been quite a while since I posted, but I finally had a chance to get some layouts completed to share.  The Summer always seems to fly by once the 4th of July comes.
  The girls have been having quite the busy Summer.

May Celebrations..

Happy Tuesday!
I hope that everyone had a great Memorial Day Weekend! The weather here was hot, sunny, and glorious! I had a bit of a cold so I wasn't feeling the greatest, but the girls had a great time going swimming in the pool and having bbq's.
This May marks two great celebrations for me.  The first is that my little one, Bailey turned 2.  We had a great time celebrating and she had lots of fun being the center of attention:

Isabel has been busy too being her sweet self and performing with her Broadway Kids Class.  It is hard to believe she is almost finished with Kindergarten!

The Second Big Milestone Celebration this month is that my little Blog "Scrap Candy' is turning 3.  I love the fact that I can go back and see all of the changes and fun times our family has had together since I started it back in 2008..Happy 3!!! I am going to get my first 3 years printed and bound in a book to commemorate and keep for years to come.  I love having this journal to document our life and also to see how far my passion for scrapbooking has come along over these 3 years..
With that, I am leaving with post with a few layouts that I created using one of my Studio Calico kits. 

It has been so fun sharing my life and creations with the world over the past 3 years and I hope to continue on into the future with the same enthusiasm and joy that it has brought to me in my life.
